This recipe combines two favorites—chocolate and banana. The result is a soft and yummy cake that will go absolutely great with your afternoon tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 200 grams melted chocolate
- 1 sliced banana
Instructions:
- Whisk the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes until they get foamy.
- Mix the melted chocolate and the sour cream and then add to the bowl with the eggs and mix well.
- Add in the flour and baking powder and mix only until the mixture is unified.
- Preheat the oven to 320 F.
- Move the mixture into two English cake baking pan.
- On top of each cake place the sliced banana slices evenly.
- Bake for 40 minutes and then let the cakes cool for at least 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy.
