Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
- 4 cans IPA
- 8 slices bacon
- 16 dill-pickle slices
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400º F. Meanwhile, stir together the butter, honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes to create the hot honey sauce.
- Cook the bacon strips in the oven for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Spread mayonnaise on each bun and transfer them to the skillet, mayo-side down. Toast until golden and then remove.
- In a small bowl, pour the salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthways and add spice to each side.
- Add olive oil to a skillet and place over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Bake the chicken in the oven for about 7 minutes.
- Allow chicken to cool for 1 minute and then assemble the sandwich. Serve with IPA.
