Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
  • 4 cans IPA
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 16 dill-pickle slices

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400º F. Meanwhile, stir together the butter, honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes to create the hot honey sauce.
  2. Cook the bacon strips in the oven for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on each bun and transfer them to the skillet, mayo-side down. Toast until golden and then remove.
  4. In a small bowl, pour the salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthways and add spice to each side.
  5. Add olive oil to a skillet and place over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Bake the chicken in the oven for about 7 minutes.
  7. Allow chicken to cool for 1 minute and then assemble the sandwich. Serve with IPA.
