Here’s how you can whip up a strawberry mezcal margarita that will work great as you throw a summer bash to welcome in the heat.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces mezcal
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 2 lime wedges
- salt
- 3 strawberries
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
Instructions:
- Pour salt onto a shallow plate. Take your cocktail glass and rub a lime wedge all over the rim before pressing the rim into the salt.
- In a glass, pour the agave syrup over the strawberries. Add the mezcal, lime juice, and Cointreau.
- Fill the glass with ice and stir.
- Garnish the glass with a strawberry and lime wedge.
