Sometimes in life, we have to acknowledge that nobody knows what they’re doing quite like the pros. So if you’re looking to level up your cooking game, it may be a good idea to take tips from the chefs who have been in the game for a while. Here are some tips from famous chefs that you may find useful.

Cook Bacon in the Oven

It’s Ina Garten’s favorite way to get crispy bacon without burning it and it makes perfect sense. Why have we all been wasting our time making our bacon in small batches in frying pans when we can just set it and forget it in the oven and get a totally perfect result?

Put Olive Oil in Your Pasta Water

You probably already know the value of putting salt in your pasta water in order to season the pasta, but did you know that tossing a bit of olive oil in there too can help the pasta from sticking? Gordon Ramsey sure did.

Fry Twice

This tip from Marcus Samuelsson is specifically about fried chicken, but it can really be used to make any fried food extra crispy. After frying it once, give your food a bit of time to rest, and then toss it back in the fryer for a second time.
