Standard menu items at McDonald’s can sometimes get boring, especially if you eat there often. Luckily, the fast food chain allows you to customize your orders, which can help make regular food items taste much more exciting.
For example, regular Filet-O-Fish can become much more than a piece of fish in a bun if you give it a BLT makeover. This idea was shared in a viral video on TikTok by food content creator Alexis Frost and frankly, it sounds too good not to try.
Frost has an ongoing series of videos in which she tries out orders recommended to her by fast food employees. One McDonald’s employee suggested she add bacon, lettuce, tomato, and extra cheese to a Filet-O-Fish during her next trip to the fast food chain, and she happily obliged.
It turned out that the hack of dressing Filet-O-Fish in BLT resulted in quite a tasty creation. Frost described it as “absolutely delicious” and rated it “10 out of 10.”
Other TikTok users shared in the comments section that they are also impressed with the hack.
“I knew before you even tried it that it was going to be bomb! What a good idea to add the bacon,” one user wrote.
“I work there, and this is what I eat when I don’t wanna go somewhere else on my lunch lol it’s so good!! I do extra tartar as well,” added another.
