When it comes to summer dining, salads have a big role to play. Whether you want plenty of fresh, crunchy salads on the side as you serve up a grill, or you’re looking to make a satisfying salad the main event, there are plenty of options and recipes to choose from. Rather than always reaching for the oil and vinegar to make your dressing, why not try this delicious yogurt-based dressing? It adds depth and flavor to salad leaves and greens, and pairs perfectly with creamy avocados, too.

  • 2 tablespoons of Greek style or natural yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried dill

  • 1 teaspoon of olive or sunflower oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chilli flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the lemon juice into the yogurt until it is well combined.
  2. Whisk in the oil and water until the dressing has emulsified.
  3. Add in the herbs, salt and chilli flakes if using, stir well to ensure everything is well combined.
