Alcohol May Aid With Sleep

Drinking a glass of wine or beer will likely help you relax and make you sleepy, but that that doesn’t mean that alcohol can help you sleep better. On the contrary, consuming alcohol late at night reduces sleep quality because it can cause sleep disruptions and insomnia.

The Older the Better

This is probably the biggest wine myth we’ve all heard thousands of times. Even though some wines do require aging and taste better when they’re older, most wines that are produced nowadays are actually meant to be drunk young.

Eating Fatty Foods to Sober Up

The truth is that alcohol will be absorbed more slowly if we eat fatty foods while drinking. But once alcohol is absorbed into the bloodstream, eating food or drinking coffee is not going to help you sober up faster.
