3 Quick and Healthy Sandwich Fillings

Sandwiches are one of the quickest and simplest lunches out there. If you’re wanting some tasty options that are also great for your health, then here are three to try.

Coronation Chickpea

This is a twist on the classic coronation chicken, but with chickpeas instead to pack in protein and vitamins. To a bowl add some mayonnaise and then stir in some curry leaf powder and a spoonful of mango chutney. Add some cooked chickpeas and mix through. Dollop this into a sandwich with some crunchy lettuce.  

Mozzarella, Tomato, and Basil

This fresh sandwich is full of goodness, and the flavor combos are to die for. Slice up some tomato and tear up some basil. Get a ball of fresh mozzarella and tear chunks off. Layer these three items in some bread, and add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. 

Turkey, Spinach, and Avocado

Turkey is high in protein and much healthier than other meats. You can buy sliced turkey in grocery stores to use in sandwiches. Add some slices to your bread, and then add some fresh spinach leaves. In a bowl, mash up some avocado with a sprinkle of salt and then layer this onto the turkey and spinach.
