Banana, an Athlete and Everyone Else Best Friend

With its yellow packaging and easy to carry everywhere, bananas are one of the most popular fruits in the world. It is popular amongst athletes as it contains a lot of nutrients and carbohydrates. But in order to get to their correct carb state, they must ripe first. As it ripens, it is converted into sugar and therefore offer a lot of carbohydrates.

Bananas’ Carbs and Calories
Not every banana is the same and so is the amount of calories in it. An average-sized banana is approximately 100 calories, but like in every food, the portion matters. Bananas benefits your body as it provides energy and proper cell function. It also helps with digestion and make you feel fuller for a longer amount of time.

Bananas may boost athletes mentally and physically and in order to benefit from it, you should eat it an hour before your workout session.
