Camping is such a fun way to experience the outdoors, spend time with friends and family, and sleep under the stars. If you are not an avid camper, it may seem a little daunting to figure out supplies and food. But not to fear! Follow these food tips and make sure everyone’s bellies are full and happy.

Doritos Taco

This recipe is so fun and easy and requires no plates or bowls! Instead, use a bag of Doritos as your vehicle as well as the base of the tacos. Just pour in whatever fixings you brought, like lettuce, tomatoes, or beans, shake it up, and eat it with a fork!

Trail Mix

Although it seems inherent, making a well-balanced trail mix is a really good way to keep up your energy and still remain healthy. The key is to use a lot of different textures, like the crunchiness of nuts and seeds juxtaposed against the softness of dried fruit.

Tortilla PB&J

After spending a lot of energy outside, have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is actually a great way to get a protein fix and stay full. Instead of lugging around a loaf of bread, use tortillas instead! They are lightweight and flat so they won’t weigh you down.
