Delicious Egg and Bacon Muffins To Serve At Your Next Brunch

These egg and bacon muffins are the perfect recipe to have on hand. Ingredient-wise it’s not that different from your classic bacon and eggs, but the presentation will give it an elegant touch, perfect for your brunch. 

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375°F.
  2. Take each slice of bacon and cut it in half crosswise. Then, line each muffin cup with the bacon, forming a circle around the sides of the cup. The bacon will act as a delicious “crust” for your egg muffins.
  3. Gently crack one egg into each bacon-lined muffin cup. 
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper. Then, top each muffin with a generous amount of shredded cheese. 
  5. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them as the baking time can vary depending on your desired level of egg doneness. 
  6. Once the egg and bacon muffins are cooked and out of the oven, you can garnish them with chopped fresh chives, parsley, or any herbs you prefer.
