DIY Oat Milk Shaken Espressos

If you’re a fan of Starbucks’ delicious shaken espressos, but your wallet isn’t, there is a simple solution: DIY! Often times, certain recipes taste better when homemade and are more cost effective. Copycat Starbucks drinks should be no exception! Keep reading for an exceptional DIY shaken espresso that your wallet will thank you for!

Ingredients

  • Cocktail shaker
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 2 Pumps of Homemade Brown sugar syrup or store bought
  • 1 pump of homemade vanilla syrup or store bought
  • C of oat milk of choice

Instructions

  • Prepare your espressos with a Moka pot (or stove top perculator) or espresso machine if you have it- if not you can use instant coffee by pouring 1/4 C of water over a heaping TBSN of coffee for a strong conentrate
  • Add 1 c of ice to a glass
  • Add your flavors to the shots and pour into cocktail shaker over the other c of ice and shake vigorously until shots are foamy
  • Pour oat milk into the glass of ice and then the shaken espresso on on top and enjoy!
