Between hot cocoa bombs and tea bombs, food bombs have been taking over the internet recently and the latest ones are broth bombs. Broth bombs are perfect for winter as they enhance soups, stews, and chilies, intensifying the flavor and turning it into a work of art. What exactly are broth bombs?

Broth bombs are fizzy, seasoning mixes that are made up of blends of spices and herbs. When they’re put into something hot, they break apart, releasing tons of savory goodness. They can be used in chili, soups, and stews to add flavor and tenderize beans.

They’re handmade, plant-based and they come in tons of varieties, ideal for people with dietary restrictions. There are nut-free, gluten-free, soy-free, high-protein, and vegan varieties.

Right now, broth bombs are available on the company’s website for $4.99 each (usually $7.99) and a pack of eight is available for $29.99 (usually $59.99). They come in eight varieties including Drops of Jupiter (savory sage with some sweetness and black pepper), Stone Broke Dharma (garam masala and curry), and Scarborough Fair (pot pie-inspired herbs). Each bomb makes about five to six portions.

What do you think of them? Are you willing to give broth bombs a try?
