Here’s How to Make an Instagram-Worthy Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls have been popping up all over Instagram, and this breakfast-friendly food tastes as good as it looks. Made with a combination of yogurt, fruit, nuts, cereal, seeds, chocolate, but butter, and granola, smoothie bowls are healthy and tasty! If you want to start making smoothie bowls at home, here’s how.

Blend Up Your Base

To make a super-smooth base, you have to put the ingredients into the blender in the right order. Liquids go first, closest to the blade, and then add soft ingredients like yogurt, greens, avocado, fresh fruit, nut butter, etc. The hard stuff like ice or frozen fruit should go in the blender last.

Make it Creamy

Add a half of a frozen banana or fresh avocado to give your smoothie some creaminess and thickness that will come in handy when you add your toppings.
