Here’s How To Make Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Cheddar bay biscuits are the best way to start your day. The whole family can enjoy them as snacks, that’s how delicious these biscuits are.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted and cooled for 5 minutes unsalted butter
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk

For topping:

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry parsley

Instructions

Set the oven to 450 F degrees.

Combine the baking soda, flour, garlic powder, sugar, baking powder, cayenne pepper, salt together in a bowl. Mix them well, then add the cheddar cheese.

Get a second bowl and combine the melted butter and buttermilk. Mix until you start seeing small lumps.

Now, mix the ingredients from the two bowls together. Stir them until you get the texture of dough, but make sure not to overdo it.

Use the measurement 1/4 of a cup to make all the cheddar bay biscuits the same. Align them on a baking sheet, leaving one between each biscuit.

Leave them in the oven for 12 minutes.

In the meantime, combine the garlic powder, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and parsley. Top the biscuits with this mix when you take them out of the oven.
