Homemade Apple Cider Is The Drink Everyone Loves

Ingredients

  • 1-2 large oranges, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 12 apples of different varieties, cut into pieces
  • 3-4 teaspoons whole cloves
  • 1 peeled lemon
  • brown or white sugar
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Fill your slow cooker with the oranges, cinnamon sticks, apples, and lemon. Next, add water and let the slow cooker simmer for at least 4 hours.
  • Check the apples, they have to be very soft when the cider is done. You can also leave it to simmer overnight.
  • When it’s done, get a masher and start pressing the ingredients.
  • Put the slow cooker back on the stove and let it simmer for one more hour.
  • You can now put the cider through a strainer a few times. Next, include the vanilla in the mix. Add the sugar according to your wishes. It all depends on how sweet you like it.
  • You can serve it right away, but it’s also very tasty cold. Top it off with apple pieces and cinnamon sticks.
