How to Make a Delicious Vodka Sauce

But in any case, a homemade sauce can go a long way, and here’s one vodka sauce recipe that’ll transform any dish instantly.

In a saucepan, melt three tablespoons of butter with two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix in a small chopped onion and allow the texture to grow soft and caramelized. Eventually, it’ll be time to add some minced garlic to the mix as well. You may do this to taste.

The Main Step

Add a cup of tomato sauce paired with 1/4 cup of vodka. Allow the entire mixture to simmer for about ten minutes. When that’s finished, mix in a cup of heavy cream and allow that to simmer for an additional five minutes while mixing.

Adding Some Extras

Finally, you can start to add some seasonings to taste, such as salt and pepper. If you want to make things even more interesting, you may add red pepper flakes or garlic seasoning as well. Serve the sauce with pasta al dente, and you’ll have yourself one delicious meal!
