How to Make Eggs Benedict Like a Pro

Eggs benedict is a gorgeous recipe for breakfast, brunch, or a snack. It is one of the best ways to get fired up for the day in style. Here’s how to make top-quality eggs benedict from home.

Ingredients:

  • 8 eggs
  • 4 breakfast muffins
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 130 grams of melted butter
  • salt and pepper.

Instructions:

Hollandaise Sauce

  1. Heat the wine vinegar in a small pan until it reduces by about half.
  2. Add two tablespoons of water and whisk in the egg yolk as the pan is removed from the heat.
  3. Whisk the sauce continuously on low heat until thick and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Take off the heat as you whisk in melted butter.

Eggs

  1. Break 4 eggs into boiling water.
  2. Cook for 1 minute and then take the pan off the heat.
  3. Allow the eggs to cook in the hot water for 6 minutes. Then, take them out.

Muffins

  1. Grill the muffins on both sides and butter them.
  2. Place poached eggs on top and drizzle on the hollandaise sauce.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
