Jell-O shots. Upon thinking of them we’re instantly brought back to some crazy college days. But since graduating, we haven’t thought much about them. Jell-O shots are still a crowd pleaser and they’re great at get-togethers. What’s fantastic about them is they’re super easy to make and with this guide, you can’t mess them up. Here’s how to make Jell-O shots.

Step 1: Collect Your Ingredients and Materials

For the ingredients you’ll need Jell-O, water, and your favorite alcohol. You’ll also need something to boil water, a whisk, a measuring cup, and small containers for your shots. Plastic or glass shot glasses are you’re best bet.

Step 2: Dissolve Jell-O

In a measuring cup, fill it with 1 cup of boiling water. Add the Jell-O powder and mix it with the water until it’s dissolved.

Step 3: Add Alcohol

This is the step that most people get wrong. You need to wait until the water and Jell-O mixture cools before adding the alcohol or the alcohol will burn off. After it’s cooled, add alcohol and whisk to mix everything together.

Step 4: Pour Into Cups

Pour everything into the cups and then store it in the fridge until it’s solidified, about 3 to 4 hours.
