- 6 to 8 chicken thighs with skin

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 F. While waiting for it to heat, place the chicken thighs on a chopping board. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides generously.
- Pour the canola oil into a skillet and place over medium heat.
- Place all of the chicken thighs into the skillet with the skin facing down.
