There’s an ongoing debate about coffee which revolves around the comparison between real coffee and instant coffee. There are many key points, but health plays a pivotal role in this discussion. Real coffee is known for its superior taste and richness, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthier. In this article, we’re going to tackle whether or not instant coffee is healthier than regular brewed coffee.

Full of Antioxidants

Regular coffee is crafted from ground coffee beans and brewed using either a French press, a coffee machine, or just the standard filter drip method. Regarding its flavor, most people agree that it’s head and shoulders above instant coffee. But that’s not all that regular coffee has going for it. It also contains large quantities of antioxidants, which are great for ridding the body of unwanted toxins and preventing disease as well.

Not As Much

Instant coffee is a lot easier to prepare, but unfortunately it doesn’t hold nearly the same amount of antioxidants as brewed coffee. It’s made by freezing coffee grounds that have already been cooked, which depletes some of its initial antioxidant storage. For this reason, it’s considerably less healthy than regular coffee, and that should definitely be taken into consideration when deciding which one to drink!
