Korean BBQ Tacos Recipe

Craving Korean BBQ but craving tacos too? These Korean BBQ tacos are a match made in flavor heaven. Tender, marinated meat, crunchy veggies, and a spicy-sweet sauce collide in every bite, taking your taste buds on a delicious East-meets-West fusion trip.

Ingredients:

For the Korean BBQ Beef

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Toppings

  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded green cabbage
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Sriracha mayo (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate sliced beef in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and optional red pepper flakes. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for more flavor). 
  2. Sear the meat in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side. 
  3. Divide the cooked beef among the tortillas and top with shredded cabbage, green onions, cilantro, and toasted sesame seeds. Drizzle with sriracha mayo and squeeze some lime juice for an extra zesty kick (optional).
  4. Enjoy fresh!
