Green tea is one of those healthy beverages that people either swear by or avoid at all costs. If you’re not a huge fan of this drink because you find its taste too strong, we’re here to help you fall in love with this drink by improving its flavor in four short steps.

Tea Choice

Your green tea will be as good as the leaves you use when brewing it. Don’t go with the cheapest green tea you find on the market and be ready to invest a little bit extra for fresh, good-quality leaves.

Right Temperature

Green tea should be cooked at a temperature ranging between 150 F and 180 F, and you shouldn’t stir too far away from this if you want it to taste good.

Steeping Time

Your green tea won’t taste as delicious as you want it to if you don’t steep it properly. Two or three minutes is all it takes because its leaves are too delicate to be steeped for longer.

Herbal Mix

If you want to benefit from green tea’s healthy properties but simply can’t get used to its flavor, the herbal mix will be your cup of tea. You can mask the flavor of green tea by using lemon, mint, or other herbal teas.
