When you’re hosting a party, you want everyone to feel included. If you have friends or you yourself are gluten-free, it can be a difficult challenge trying to navigate all the different snacks at a party. Although there are many processed gluten-free options at the grocery store, they can be expensive and not always delicious. Luckily, you can make these gluten-free crackers at home that everyone will enjoy with all sorts of dips and spreads.

Ingredients

For this recipe, you only need a few key ingredients and the rest can be completed customizable. The main ingredients are oat flour, uncooked quinoa, ground flax seeds, water, and coconut oil. If you want to stop there, that’s fine. If you want to have a seedier cracker, you can add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, or whatever you have on hand.

Method

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in one bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine hot water, coconut oil, and salt.
  3. Stir in the wet mixture until well combined, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Spread out the mixture into a thin rectangle, score the crackers to the size you want, and bake for 20 minutes
  5. Flip the whole thing over and bake for another 5-10 minutes
  6. Enjoy!
