Some of us make it a habit to order take-ins because we might be too busy at work and don’t have time to cook, or we just don’t like to cook at all. Or maybe we just don’t have the right ingredients at home and are too lazy to go out and buy them. However, that isn’t the best idea – not only it is pricey, but it isn’t very healthy.

Have a look at these 5 tips that will help you avoid ordering in:

1. Have a Plan – plan your weekly dinners. Do some brainstorming, make a list of which ingredients you need and go to the grocery store. Make sure you have everything you need before getting started.

2. Stock Some Food – when going grocery shopping, buy some canned foods and leave them in your kitchen cabinet. It is always good to have. They might be useful at any moment.

3. Easy Meals – no need to make complicated dishes. Try to keep it as simple, flexible and fast.

4. Leftovers – if you are already cooking, think about your freezer. This is always a great option to keep some leftovers.

5. Get Inspiration Online – there is no limit to the recipes you can find online. Go check out Pinterest and follow Foodies on Instagram. This will give you much inspiration.
