Quick Spicy Sausage Pizza with Burrata

Ingredients

  • 1 prebaked pizza crust or large, round flatbread (minimum 12 inches in diameter)
  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • ⅓ cup Boursin cheese
  • 1 pound precooked spicy sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli, finely chopped
  • 3 cups kale, finely shredded
  • 6 ounces burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, for garnish
  • Freshly ground black pepper, for garnish
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°Farenheit.
  2. Place the crust on a baking sheet and brush it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Spread the Boursin cheese evenly onto the crust.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of the olive oil in a large skillet over a medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook, turning or tossing occasionally, until it’s golden brown on both sides (about 5 minutes).
  4. Arrange the sausage, broccoli, and kale on the crust in an even layer. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the surface.
  5. Bake until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred (10 to 12 minutes).
  6. Arrange the burrata on top of the pizza and garnish with the basil, crushed red-pepper flakes, and black pepper. Serve immediately and accept the compliments!
