Garlic and herbs make such a nice flavor combination, don’t they? I love using this fusion for pasta sauces, bread dips, and especially for meat marinades.

This garlic herb marinade is a great option for lamb, pork, beef, or chicken. It’s extremely versatile and easy to prepare. Let’s learn how to make it!

(This recipe is for one pound of meat, so adjust ingredients accordingly.)

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the meat that you want to marinate inside of a bag or a container which will allow for the marinade to completely cover it.
  • Next, add all of the dry ingredients on top of the meat. Do so before adding the liquid ones, as adding them after will allow the herbs to be mixed up in the marinade and distributed equally throughout.
  • After adding the liquid ingredients, toss gently in order to allow all of the components to mix. Do so every hour or so as it marinades, as the olive oil will tend to separate.
  • Marinade for 6-8 hours, and then prepare the meat. Enjoy!
