The Best Le Creuset Alternatives You Can Find

Le Creuset is one of the most exclusive French cookware brands in the world. It’s recognizable for its enameled Dutch ovens, which come in fun colors like red, blue, yellow, and green. However, not everyone can afford to shell out $400 for one of these. That’s okay though, because some great dupes or less expensive versions have hit the market in recent years.

Cuisinart – $66

Popular cookware and kitchen appliance manufacturer Cuisinart has created their own cast iron-enameled Dutch oven. It’s significantly cheaper and manages to keep your meal cooking at a static temperature. Without buying one of these, it’s hard to know if it will last for as long as the Le Creuset version—but it’s still a good option.

Milo – $120

Milo is an American brand that began developing Dutch ovens in 2017. Since then, it has risen in popularity, and its product does look remarkably like the Le Creuset version. It retains heat quite well, and it comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Sounds pretty good for a product that’s a quarter of the price!

Lodge – $115

Last on our list of alternatives is the Lodge Dutch oven. It comes in a classic red, but the knob does have the brand name emblazoned on it. According to some kitchen tests, it does not retain heat as well, but it does cook your meal the way a Dutch oven should.
