The Mindful Mocktail Will Make You See Non-Alcoholic Cocktails in a Whole New Light

Trying to cut down on booze shouldn’t stop you from enjoying a delicious cocktail from time to time—and that’s exactly the idea behind the food blog The Mindful Mocktail. Its founder Natalie Battaglia is to mastermind when it comes to putting an alcohol-free twist on iconic cocktails, and she enjoys sharing them with the rest of the world.

Battaglia discovered her love for mocktails after she decided to give up drinking a few years ago, and her newfound hobby allowed her to explore her love for mixology in a brand new way.

“A few years ago, I identified that alcohol and I were no longer friends. I had come to rely on it just a little too much, and found it was taking more than it was giving… But I missed my afternoon wind down (wine down?) drink. Cue – non-alcoholic cocktails!” she explained on her blog.

Battaglia mostly relies on fresh ingredients from her garden to mix up all sorts of booze-free beverages. She enjoys experimenting with different flavors and textures and mostly strives to create mocktails that have tons of nutritional benefits and aren’t too high in sugar.

Battaglia’s community grew to 80,000 Instagram followers since she started her blog, and she’s hoping her story will show people that you can experience the joy of drinking without consuming alcohol.
