These Chicken Marsala Meatballs Are A Game-Changer

Meatballs are so delicious, but have you tried making them with Marsala sauce? The chicken Marsala meatballs below will only take 40 minutes of your time, and they’re so good.

Ingredients

For this recipe you need:
1 pound ground white meat chicken
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated pecorino
2 tablespoons milk in room temperature
1 beaten large egg
1 large minced shallot
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons flour
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon Marsala wine
8 oz sliced cremini mushrooms
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

Combine the milk, breadcrumbs, and 1 tablespoon Marsala wine in a bowl. Stir them together and let them stay for 5 minutes.

Include the egg, chicken, parsley, pecorino, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and the pepper. Mix everything and start forming meatballs with your hands. Place them on a sheet in the meantime. Broil the Marsala meatballs for 5 minutes.

Grab a skillet, add the olive oil and cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes. Combine them with the 1/2 teaspoon salt, shallots and let them cook for 2 more minutes.

Set the heat to medium, then pour 1 tablespoon olive oil, the flour, and 1/3 cup Marsala wine. Mix it well and include the chicken broth. Let it simmer for 5 minutes and combine the sauce with the meatballs. Simmer for 5 minutes.
