This Awesome Grilled Cheese Recipe Will Warm You Up This Winter!

Looking for something to warm you up during the cold winter months? You need look no further than this spicy jalapeno grilled cheese recipe. It’s quick and easy to prepare and is perfect for raising the spirits when you’re feeling blue. Here’s how to do it.

Gather Ingredients

This grilled cheese recipe is really simple and can be made in minutes. All you need is 4 slices of bread, 3 tablespoons of butter, 1 jalapeno sliced into rings, grated parmesan cheese, and grated mature cheddar. You can choose your bread type, although we recommend white bread or sourdough.

Prepare the Bread

Take each slice of bread and spread 1 side of each with butter. There should be enough butter to allow the cheese to stick (approximately 2 tablespoons). When this is done, press the jalapeno slices into two of the buttered slices.

Apply the Cheese

Next, apply the grated parmesan to the buttered sides alongside the jalapenos. For best results, you should try to make this an even distribution. Then, pour the cheddar cheese (around half a cup) onto the unbuttered sides and close them together. The buttered parmesan sides should be on the outside.

Softly Grill

Cook each sandwich on gentle heat for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally. The butter should make it all nice and crispy. Fry until golden, and dig in!
