This Beef and Broccoli Wok Only Uses One Pan!

A wok is a secret weapon for whipping up quick, healthy, and delicious dinners. With just one pan and a handful of ingredients, you can create a myriad of dishes that cater to any taste. Here’s a delicious beef and broccoli recipe to get you started.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups of broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Marinade and sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, and sesame oil. Add the thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Blanch the broccoli for about 2 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch. 
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in your wok. Add the beef. Stir-fry until the beef is just cooked through. Add the remaining oil and the broccoli. 
  5. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes, then add the beef back in.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli. Stir well to combine.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
