Ingredients:
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups of broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Marinade and sauce:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, and sesame oil. Add the thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Blanch the broccoli for about 2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in your wok. Add the beef. Stir-fry until the beef is just cooked through. Add the remaining oil and the broccoli.
