This Easy Quinoa Bread is Healthy and Delicious

Let’s talk about making a loaf of bread that’s not only easy to whip up but also packs a punch in the nutrition department. Quinoa bread is rich in proteins and fiber and is gluten-free. Perfect for breakfast toast or a hearty sandwich, here’s how you can make this delicious quinoa bread at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup water (plus more for soaking)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water. 
  2. Soak the quinoa in water for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  4. Drain the quinoa and place it in a blender or food processor. Add chia seeds, 1 cup of water, olive oil, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and apple cider vinegar. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Place in the oven and bake for about 90 minutes, or until the bread is firm and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before cutting in.
