Treat Yourself With Tasty Cheese-Stuffed Italian Sweet Peppers

Finding a tasty dish that is quick and easy to make is not as simple as people would think. However, you have us, so there is no need to worry in that department.

Today we are bringing you a recipe for cheese-stuffed peppers. You need to spend less than an hour in the kitchen from start to finish, and there will be a tasty dish waiting for you at the end of it all. The best-suited peppers for this dish are Italian sweet peppers, but you can also use Piquillo peppers or, alternatively, good ol’ red bell peppers. So let’s check it out.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Italian sweet peppers
  • 1 cup fresh cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Cut the peppers in half, remove the top and clean the seeds.
  2. Combine cheese and eggs in a bowl and add salt to taste. Mix until the eggs and cheese form a smooth filling.
  3. Brush the pepper halves with olive oil from the outer side and fill the inside with cheese filling.
  4. Line a pan with parchment paper, place the stuffed peppers, and pop them into a preheated oven at 400F. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Take the stuffed peppers out, let them chill for a few minutes, and then dig in.
