Waking up to the smell of pancakes will always be nostalgic and delicious. But, whether you have a gluten sensitivity or are just trying to cut gluten out of your diet to be conscious of what you’re eating, there can be some serious cutbacks to your life that come with it. Luckily, this three-ingredient recipe for banana pancakes is simple and will totally satisfy your craving.

Ingredients

For six mini pancakes, the three ingredients are as follows: two bananas, two eggs, and 2/3 a cup of ground gluten-free oats. You might need an extra couple of teaspoons of oats, but first mix everything together and then assess.

Method

Mash the banana and add any spices you’d like, such as cinnamon, turmeric, nutmeg, or cloves and beat in the egg. Grind or blend the oats until you create a fine powder and add them in. Take about 1/4 of a cup of batter at a time, fry on both sides until golden brown and serve!

Serving

You can serve these pancakes just like you would regularly with maple syrup, or you can switch it up and use some fruit jam or jelly instead. Top with mint, and you are ready to start your day!
