Try This Breakfast Routine to Get Your Day Off to a Great Start

If you are in a rush in the morning but still want to eat a nutritious and delicious breakfast that ticks all your boxes, look no further. Here is a breakfast that you can adapt to suit your needs that will get your day off to a great start.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces of Scottish porridge oats
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 cup of oat milk
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of Greek yogurt
  • A handful of your favorite fruit
  • Chia seeds (optional)
  • Pumpkin seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour your oats into a bowl. Add your yogurt and honey and mix in well.
  2. If your mixture is too dry, you can add either (or both) oat milk or water. At this point you can also add your favorite fruit. Berries such as blueberries work very well but grapes are also good.
  3. If you want to boost the nutritional value of your breakfast even further, chia seeds are a great source of vitamins, whilst pumpkins add even more protein. The great thing about this breakfast routine is that you can tailor it to your preferences, and it is always quick, delicious and very nutritious!
