The famous Posh Spice, also known as Victoria Beckham, proved to the world that she had the right nickname all along. Most of the things she does are fancy, from the way she dresses to the rest of her lifestyle. Her eating habits, on the other hand, are surprisingly simple.

It’s easy to imagine Mrs. Beckham in the most expensive London restaurants trying out the latest hit meals, but the truth is that she actually prefers the simplest foods you can imagine. As she mentioned on the River Café’s Table 4 podcast, she’s “a restaurant’s worst nightmare because she was happy with just a slice of bread with a sprinkling of the seasoning,” Daily Mail reports.

Her go-to order is steamed vegetables and balsamic vinegar. She avoids butter, oils, and sauces, but enjoys a carb-filled meal once in a while. “This is where I sound even more boring in the food department,” she says. “I like whole-grain toast with salt on it. It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted, and I love salt.” And for dessert? Nothing for her.

As Beckham once told The Guardian, she’s happiest when she’s disciplined in the way she works out and eats. If it works for her, that’s amazing!
