Don’t you hate it when you want to have a bowl of cereal for breakfast in the morning and discover they are stale? Sure, you can proceed to eat them, but you know that they will not taste that great, and your morning will be ruined. But the better option is to do something about it.

Cereal getting stale doesn’t mean that everything is lost. There is one simple hack that will allow you to revive them and get them satisfyingly fresh and crunchy again.

How to Revive Stale Cereal

Instagram account Problem Solved, which tackles everyday problems you can encounter in the kitchen and gives surprisingly simple solutions for them, recently posted a video that shows how you can easily revive stale cereal.

According to the video, all you need to do is line the cereal on the baking sheet and pop them in an oven at 300F. Let them bake for five to 10 minutes, and they should be as good as new.

Cereals usually get stale because they pick up moisture after being stored improperly. Baking them in an oven will dry out the moisture and revive the crunch you like.
