Everyone knows that you’re supposed to get 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, but what does that really look like? If you want to make sure that you’re getting enough vegetables in throughout the day, here is what one serving of veggies look like.

Celery

If you want to eat celery and get in your serving for the day, you actually only need two long stalks! Especially if you’re making a soup and use them in a mirepoix, you’re good to go.

Sweet Potato

One large sweet potato is the only thing you need to eat for a whole serving of vegetables! The best part is that you can have them for breakfast in a hash or even cut thinly into toasts.

Brussels Sprouts

This vegetable has really made a come back in the past few years. To get in one serving with them, you have to eat about 9 large ones.

Bell Peppers

One large pepper is all you need to get in your serving! A great way to do that is by cutting it in half, roasting in the oven, and filling it with a taco filling. Cover it in shredded cheese, stick it back into the oven, and serve!
