Why You Should Add Sesame Seeds To Everything

Sesame seeds might be those little dots you remember on a hamburger bun, but they are actually a great addition to many different meals. First of all, they provide a lot of nutritional benefits like iron, zinc, vitamin B1, calcium, and more. But, just as importantly, they add a really nice finishing touch to a meal, you do eat with your eyes before anything.

Salads

To add a sweet pop of a contrast color to your salads, turn to sesame seeds! Put together your salad as usual with some leafy greens, maybe even some roasted vegetables, and finish with your favorite dressing a sprinkling of sesame seeds.

Making healthy eating a priority is a lot easier when you have lots of different ingredients that all look pretty together. Creating a buddha bowls allows you to incorporate hot and cold ingredients, grains, and make it all healthy and vegetarian, so go for it!
