You Can Make Turmeric Chai Latte at Home With This Simple Recipe

Turmeric Chai Latte is a warm, comforting beverage packed with health benefits. It’s also super easy to make, so why not give it a try? Follow this simple recipe to make your own delicious turmeric chai latte at home.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 black tea bag (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it is warm but not boiling.
  2. Whisk in the ground turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract to the milk mixture. Continue to whisk until everything is fully incorporated and the mixture is hot.
  4. If you prefer a stronger chai flavor, add the black tea bag to the saucepan. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bag.
  5. For a frothy texture, you can use an immersion blender directly in the saucepan or transfer the mixture to a regular blender and blend for 20-30 seconds. Pour the turmeric chai latte into mugs and enjoy it hot. You can also sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.
