Kian, who goes by Cooking with Kian on social media, shared an amazing video recipe for fillet mignon on TikTok and became an amateur cooking star overnight. Their clip got 1.8 million views in just a couple of days, with internet users being impressed with their skills.
Kian’s Filet Mignon Recipe
To start off, Kian makes mashed potatoes from scratch and cooks some asparagus. They then cover the filet mignon with olive oil, salt, and pepper before giving it a quick treatment in the pan.
Once the filet mignon gets charred on both sides, Kian takes it out and puts it on a rack. Next, the young cooking enthusiast adds shallots, garlic, and butter to the pan and leaves it to heat up before introducing the meat back into the mix.
Kian continues to baste the filet mignon and even adds some dried herbs to enhance the flavor. Once the meat is cooked, they slice it into delicious-looking bits and serve it alongside mashed potatoes and asparagus.
