If you recently binged Netflix’s TV series Street Food, you might be craving some of those delicious flavors. Bringing the inspiration to your dinner table can be a great way to spice up your routine. Here are some great dishes to inspire you.

Tacos al Pastor (Mexico)

Tacos al Pastor features thinly sliced pork, marinated in a blend of chilies, spices, and pineapple, then traditionally cooked on a vertical spit. If you’re making the dish at home, you can easily cook the meat on a grill or stovetop. Serve on small corn tortillas, topped with fresh pineapple, chopped onions, and cilantro.

Pani Puri (India)

Pani Puri, also known as Golgappa, is a popular Indian street snack. It’s hollow puris filled with a spicy blend of boiled, mashed potatoes and chickpeas, and a tangy tamarind water (pani) made from tamarind paste, mint, coriander, jaggery, and spices. You can buy puris at an Asian grocery store to help you get started.

Crepes (France)

Crepes are a versatile French street food. The batter is a simple mixture of flour, eggs, milk, and salt. You cook it in a hot, lightly greased pan until thin and delicate. Fill with sweet fillings like Nutella and sliced bananas, or savory fillings like ham and cheese.
