Easy 10-Minute Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz spaghetti or your choice of pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Chopped parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Save about 1 cup of pasta water for later, then drain the rest and set the pasta aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2 minutes, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated. 
  5. Season with salt and pepper and red pepper flakes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley or additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
