Most people like their peanut butter to be smooth, melty, and spreadable. But some peanut butter varieties just refuse to adopt this consistency on a regular basis and often get hard. Now you can pick out another brand or do something to soften your peanut butter.
Give it a Spin in a Microwave
Microwave easily deals with even the most stubborn peanut butter. Simply transfer the amount of peanut butter you want to eat in a microwave-safe container and give it a spin a microwave for 30 seconds on medium heat. It will become just the right kind of gooey.
Put it in a Blender or Food Processor
You can also put hardened peanut butter in a blender or food processor and blend it for a few seconds. This is arguably the fastest way to soften peanut butter.
Whisk It
If you don’t own previously-mentioned kitchen appliances, then a good ol’ fashioned whisk will do. Simply scoop out the peanut butter into a bowl and whisk it using a fork. The more you whisk, the softer the peanut butter will become.
Use Warm Water
You can also place a jar in a bowl of warm water and leave it for a few minutes inside. The water will warm up the jar and make the peanut butter inside softer.
