Do you want to start eating more kale, but you can’t stand the taste and texture of the leafy green? Kale is one of those things that if you love it your really love it and if you don’t, you can’t stand it. If you fall in the latter, perhaps you haven’t been eating it the right way. There are so many ways to enjoy kale besides for just salads. Here are five ways to get more kale into your diet.

Hummus

Whether you’re using a store-bought or homemade hummus, add some chopped up kale to the mix. The only thing that will change in the hummus is the color, you won’t taste the kale at all.

Soups

If you’re now a fan of raw kale, try it cooked in soups. When the kale is added to the broth of soups, it cooks down and the flavor disappears.

Kale Pesto

Next time you make pesto, add kale to the mix. If you want another take on pesto, make one with kale and walnuts.

Kale Smoothie

Add some leafy greens to your smoothie with kale. Make a tropical smoothie with kale, pineapple, and bananas or a tangy one with kale and apples.
