What you’ll need:
- 1 c. butter for both the mixture and the pan
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 cored and cut apples
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 of lemon squeezed
- Vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
How to make it:
- Preheat the oven to about 350 degrees and cover the baking dish with butter. Take a bowl and mix the flour, pecans, salt, brown sugar and stir it thoroughly. Make sure the mixture is coarse and sturdy.
- Next, throw the apples, sugar, lemon juice and ginger along with cinnamon into the dish. Toss it for a while and spread the mixture evenly in a layer.
