The holiday season has officially begun at McDonald’s. The fast food chain announced this week that its famous “Holiday Pie“ made its big return and is already available in selected locations across the nation.
Originally introduced in 1999, the Holiday Pie is made “with creamy, smooth custard nestled in a flaky, buttery crust that’s glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles.” The pie is usually available around the holiday, typically introduced towards the end of the year before being shelved once January comes.
It will be the same in 2023, as the Holiday Pie will see its run end on December 30 or until the supplies last.
“Well McDonald’s fans, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with the sweet return of McDonald’s Holiday Pie!,” McDonald’s said in the press release.
Unfortunately, these Holiday Pies are not available at just any McDonald’s, so you might have to visit a few until you find them. However, judging by the reactions to the news, it is well worth the effort.
