If you ever had a late night out drinking with friends and got a little carried away, we know the feeling. While the drinking part is fun and all, the morning after hangover will leave you feeling sick, sluggish, and exhausted. Lucky for you, we have some perfect hangover cure to get you through your day.

Coconut Water

Start your day with at least a liter of water or coconut water. Its important to have lots of fluids to flush out the toxins from the night before. The natural electrolytes in coconut water will also help restore electrolyte imbalances that occur after a night of drinking. If you don’t like coconut water, opt for another electrolyte beverage, that does not have any added sugars.

Coffee

If you have a headache, opt for an Aspirin and some coffee to mitigate the symptoms, and of course keep drinking your water to stay hydrated. The coffee will give you the necessary energy you might be lacking to push through the day.

Bagels

Get a plain bagel with nothing on it to soak up the alcohol. Avoid heavier foods that might worsen your nausea symptoms, such as fried foods or dairy, and opt for blander foods such as bananas, plain bread, and rice.

Nutritious Foods

As far as healthy foods go for a hangover, you can’t go wrong with all fruit and veggies. Specifically, bananas are rich in potassium, so they help replenish the water that is lost when consuming alcohol.
