There are many household items we throw away on a daily basis, despite the fact that they can easily be reused again and again. Here are some common kitchen items you should try and repurpose whenever you can.

Mason Jars

Mason jars are probably one of the most useful and versatile items we can use for so many things. Use them as candle holders, planters, vases, or for storing condiments, teas, spices and other foods.

Cutting Boards

An old wooden cutting board can be pretty useful for your next decoupage project. They can even be used for making wall art, nice vintage chalkboards, or even shelves.

Lunch Box

If you have a lunch box you no longer need and use, you can still repurpose it for storing and organizing your makeup, jewelry, teas, and other necessary items you use on a daily basis.

Egg Cartons

There are so many creative ways to repurpose old egg cartons for fun DIY projects, or for organizing other home items and supplies.

Mugs

Much like a mason jar, a mug can also make an excellent planter, candle holder or a vase, so don’t toss them out when they break.
